Shinny

Purpose
Shinny games are exhibition games and are used either to experiment with your lineup or participate in player-run tournaments. Player-run tournaments are organized by players in the "Tournaments" board in the forums. These tournaments sometimes include awards and prizes such as free donator days.

Shinny games can also be used to win extra drills via betting. To bet a drill on a shinny game, go to the shinny page of various teams that have a higher power rank than you until you find a team that the game lets you bet against. Drills are won and lost against the computer, the team you bet against is not affected by your bets.

Finding A Team To Shinny
To find a team to shinny, you can either use the "Shinny a random team" feature on the main "Shinny" page or go to a team's profile and click "shinny" from there. To get to a team's profile you can either look them up in "View Teams" or just click on the team's name, if you see a team in your news or in the forums that you want to shinny.

Playing Shinny Games
The only way to play shinny games is to play them round-by-round. QuickSim is not available for shinny games. If you don't finish a shinny game then it will be automatically finished for you at 11 PM server time.

Roster Requirements
The same as The Medallion - 12 signed forwards, 6 signed defensemen, and 2 signed goalies.

Leagues require 15 signed forwards, 8 signed defensemen, and 3 signed goalies.
